Well where do I begin, I asked Robert Harris to start a build with three custom cues .I must say that there were certain things I liked about his work so i gave him an opportunity to build me 3 different designs ,the time frame was 1 year at the most with 3 months for each build..So I gave him specs of what I wanted and once we agreed on a price I gave him a down payment . I gave him a down payment for all 3 cues because I trusted him and since he has had many deals on AZ. All this was done in june of 2014. Fast forward to today all i have received is a recut designed cue . Also id like to mention that the agreed upon price was 1500 for the first cue , 2000 for the second and 2000 for the 3rd. I have given him $ 3500 thus far. Only because on one of the designs that I had silver incorporated into it and ivory for all 3 cues. He has posted pictures of the builds , one of them being the copper crown but cap which was supposed to be on one of my cues. At this point after 2 1/2 years back and forth with him and Mr Harris giving me excuses about the builds ( even though he has sold countless cues ) I'm so disappointed with this whole situation . I have all transactions of the money order and paypal transactions also . I don't like posting negative things about someone who makes his bread and butter from but at this point its money that i have worked hard for only . So I'm posting this on AZ so I can let people know and also for Mr. Harris to make it right.

Please post this on the main forum for more exposure so ppl can you advice.

The man had issues in the past pm-ing azers who owns searing or hi-end cues saying its crazy to pay more than a few thousand to own their cues.
Dude made a public apology but left a negative impression in my mind.

Its hard to believe there are still people you still around.
You gave a cue maker $3500 up front for a $5500 build.
Nobody does that for any service, let alone a cue maker.
They are the worst. Or close to it.
I'm done ranting and I hope it works out for you and I'm wrong.

cue makers and that in 2017 he would be making like 1000 cues this year.

Think he getting bigger equipment or something, maybe even moving to a bigger building

I went back and read message said he's building a 20,000 Sq ft building and that he made 200 cues in 2016
and he's going to try and make a 1000 in 2017.
He goes on to say he's going to surpassed Schon cues tis year in production. LOL

That's like 5 cues a day based on a 5 day work week.
With enough help that's possible.
He could buy pre made forearms like McDermott was doing a few years ago and just finish them here.

Thats true I'm usually not like this but he was then very active on the forum and I knew a few people that ordered from him. I had order a cue from JERRY -R- with zero issues (AMAZING WORK). I saw no negative posts against him also. I mean there should be some kind of rating system on here .
