I saw Ruslan wearing a kaspersky labs shirt on the derby city live stream. I thought a pool player with a real non sport sponsor really? So I googled it and this is what I found on the Kaspersky blog.

"Now, about the billiards. We’ve got some excellent news!…
Not so long ago we started sponsoring the young Russian billiards player Ruslan Chinahov. One of the reasons we did was that, up till then, all the expenses for his training and travel around the planet to different tournaments, was footed by one of our employees out of his own pocket – just for love of the game – Ruslan’s game. I couldn’t just stand by, and so piled in to help out."

What a cool read, and thank you so much for sharing this.

I have actually had a small interaction with Gene Kaspersky dude years ago. He's pretty cool. Now he's even cooler, in my book. :cool:

Totally! When I read it i thought: "is this real life?" Kinda reminds me of the ultimate 10 ball guy. Successful person helping a sport that really needs it.
