Is this Helmstetter authentic?

All of the information I can dig up says that all of the Helmstetter cues have ebony and points. It appears that this one has neither.

Anyone willing to share their experience or expertise on this?

Yes it's real ......nobody would fake these Adams helmstetter cues because they aren't valuable. This one is worth 150-200

I have no idea where you are getting that information but it is definitely incorrect.

Yes, that is a Helmetetter.

There would be little or no profit in faking a Helmstetter, especially a plain jane one....but it wouldn't surprise me if somebody did. Never hurts to check, and it never hurts to ask.

The signature is a decal under the finish and the cue was made in the Adam factory in Japan.

Thank you for the reply! I wonder when this one was made. Upon further research, Helmstetter did not sign his early cues, so this one must be a later model.

The early cues?

You mean before he built the Adam factory, when he was working in the US. Correct, he did not sign his cues, or at least I never heard of one. If you find one you can prove he made then you have a gem.

This was made in the Adam factory. Commonly available still, fun to own, not expensive.

I am guessing that one is from the 90's? Not sure.
