That is an important thing that lots of pool players don't do but it's not the most important thing to be learned from snooker.
Selby up 7-6. Selby won the first 4 frames on todays session.
9-7 Selby for the day
7-4 Higgins over Hawkins
Higgins wins the frame after some very interesting safety play. He leads at the end of the session 10-6 over Hawkins.9-6 Higgins with a very ragged frame in progress. Missed chances by both players.

..what snooker players do more than pool players?
They hit from the elbow much more than from the armpit....
...the stroking arm rarely goes past vertical till after they hit the ball.
...many don't drop their elbow.
Am I getting warm....huh?...at least in the neighborhood?
...not even close?
:scratchhead::banghead::shrug:....gimme a break, Bob...
..I'm a highschool drop-out
Selby-Ding was scheduled to start at 1900 local time (23 minutes ago) but maybe they are running late because of the previous session. At any rate it should be on soon.
I like that answer.
The open bridge is my guess.:thumbup:
The open bridge has been in the pool world for a long time, Greg.
...most notably, Jim Rempe favored it long before he took up snooker.
by my calculation, it starts in 25 minutes.
