US is in a big hole.

Europe is winning 7-1 in a race to 11 matches.

Most matches were not very close with 6-2 and 6-3 wins in doubles and 6-1, 6-2 wins by Europe in singles with April Larson coming closest with a hill hill loss 6-5. April was up 4-1 at the start but ended up with a loss.

Day 1 results were a 6-5 win by US in the 6v6 team and 6-3, 6-3 losses by US in the 3v3 teams.

Rack wins are: Europe 47 US 25

Whatever Europe is doing to grow their young pool players is working magnificently. America should take note and learn. It sucks to see our young players getting beat up like this.

I hate to say it but team USA is choking more than they're getting beat up! You can't dog a 9 or miss with only 2 or 3 balls left on the table and expect to win! And what's with all the banking instead of cutting? I've seen way too many banks attempted off the long rail to the back corner instead of cutting the damn ball in the near corner! Keep it simple!
