The fact that it's in english subtitles should tell you something about the interest in playing straight rail.
I had to ask them for it
The fact that my posts here continually hit over a hundred views tells me the interest, as well as the constant nice comments, greenies, and random PM's I get on them
The fact that my straight rail thread in the Carom section goes up by 1000 views a month tells me the interest as well

I don't care how popular it is or isn't,
It's beautiful and all I'm doing is sharing it with those that also see the beauty in Carom games
Billiard fans don't play or watch games for how popular they are
Most pool player's don't even like 1pkt 14.1 or snooker

I completely understand, that's why there's a carom billiards forum, AND a snooker forum as well.
I post here for those that don't look there,
And find more interest, seemingly at times, here than in the Carom section

Yeah, but when it comes to getting replies, if you add up all the replies you've recieved ot all the threads you've started in the main forum, they'd be lucky to add up to just a lille over 100 replies.
And? Again it's not a popularity contest, no contest at all, it's about exposing the game to those that wouldn't otherwise have seen it

In an interview Efren states that his 3 favorite games are rotation, one pocket, and balk line. If it's good enough for Efren then it's good enough for me.
Any game on a carom table has cross over skills to pool so thank you beneath the sur for all you do to put this game on the burner.

No that's definitely a 8 er 9ft table
Notice the extra small corner triangles instead of the much bigger ones on the big table that extends down 2 diamonds along the long rail
They have smaller corner markers for the small tables
