"Matty" cue - cuemaker info, anyone?

The Meucci cues at that time used nylon inserts.

Looks like Nylon in the pics to me.

When Bob left Huebler he started using brass inserts.

Huebler and Meucci used the same bumper at that time as well, commonly called a "pill" bumper.

Really Hen's teeth. When I last spoke to Terry he didn't have any.

I can't see for s**t, CD. It may well BE nylon. I looked at it before I answered his question and it looked yellow-ish to me but that must've been the light. I just had my kid ( 20-20 vision, lucky little bastard ) look at it with a flashlight and it's grey-ish/silver'ish so I'm gonna say it's nylon. The little ring that's flush with the wood of the shaft/entrance to the insert is definitely nylon.

CD - When I bought it, there was no bumper. The guy who refinished it put one on for me. So definitely not original.

If you search, you might find a bumper. But it might help to offer up sacrifices.....the pool gods want blood for such things...

Sage advice. The problem is, of course, you can get arrested for just crossing the street these days, let alone sacrificing small ( or large ) animals. I will give it due consideration, however. The Pool Gods are not to be trifled with.
