Mezz Exceed Cues - 2 Year Wait List

I'm thinking of ordering one, as I love my current Mezz cue, and I've heard the Exceed line is the very high end cue line that Mezz offers. There is currently a 2 year wait list, of which you have to put a 50% deposit down when you order.

A fairly simple plain jane wrapless bocote/macassar ebony EXD model is around $1,500, so I'm looking at tying up $750 for 2 years before this cue is ready. I know 2 years flies by, but it's still a long time to wait for a cue, particularly when you're 61 as I am. It comes with an EXPro shaft, which I'm already using on my current Mezz cue, so I'm sure it's not going to play any different than my current cue.

Does anyone here have an Exceed cue, or know anyone who has one, and what they think of it? Knowing Mezz, I am sure it's awesome. I'm assuming they would likely hold a good resale value, if by chance I ever decide to sell it?

While I dont own Exceed I have read from several sources that Exceed thx to its constrution DOES play differently than normal Mezz cue (it has better feedback). And yes, Exceed cues are highly in demand and hold their price very well. I would recommend to join this Mezz group on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/731843823644950/, that group has over 3500 members, all are Mezz fans and the collective knowledge regarding Mezz/Exceed cues is insane there

Check J and J cues america. Alot of merry widows in stock. Email them and they will hook you up for best offline deals. Theres a nice ebony and tulip wood there the last time i check.

I believe J&J is a Mezz and Exceed dealer, so that makes sense. Thing is, if I custom order an Exceed cue through Mezzusa, I can request a 30" butt and shaft, as I'm 6'4". I highly doubt J&J would have a 30" butt in stock. I wouldn't mind paying a little more to get an Exceed cue sooner, but to get the model I want with the 30" butt and shaft, I'm likely going to have to wait 2 years. Worth checking though - thanks.
