The rules were vague to me. The first video referenced seemed to line up with what I was talking about. How about instead of insulting and belittling someone, you articulate your opinion like an adult (grammar, punctuation, and capitalization included), and just educate me? Assume for a minute that I'm not attempting to be a jerk to you, and just help me wrap my head around it for a minute.

This was a slight directed at me. Obviously I didn't know about the game, or I wouldn't of been asking you about it. No need to get all gung-ho on trying to call me on that. Just talk to me about it, instead of pointing out vague rules, and almost 40 year old grainy video. Insults don't have to be terms. Talking down to someone is insulting to their intelligence.

Again, please don't talk down to me. I'm aware of what was on the fist page. Time wasn't a factor in my not understanding.

Go back and check. I was at post #13, when I clearly stated that maybe some things had changed, and it had been a while (which you could infer that perhaps my recollection was off). It was you who kept coming back.

Post 13. Not 11. Again, you stop shy of calling me a liar, and twist my words around.

The rules you quoted up above don't explicitly state when the first object ball has to be struck. Seems a little ambiguous. I'm fairly sure that even in the three cushion matched I've watch that they had to go three rails before contacting the second target ball.

Whatever though, rules change over the years. And I haven't played in a long time.

See? Telling someone their wrong, in the wrong way, can be fickle. What's helpful is to acknowledge that the rules are irresolute, and ever changing. Hope I got my point across.
