In the Boardwalk Empire TV show, the Rotstein character from the New York is often seen playing pool. In close-ups you can see markings on the shaft, but not good enough to read it. Pretty sure shafts didn't have branding in the 1920's?

Actually, this was spotted immediately by AzBilliards members when the series first aired. It was a mistake by the production team.
