I encourage any pool room owner to hold qualifiers for the US International 9-Ball Open in Norfolk, Virginia, October 21-27, 2018.
The International 9-Ball Open entry fee is $1000, and the payouts are fantastic: $50,000 guaranteed added, $40,000 guaranteed 1st Place, $2250 guaranteed 32nd place. There is no other tournament in the USA that has this generous guaranteed payout formula.
Limited to 128 players.
Go to Accu-Stats.com for discount information on hotel room reservations, and spectator tickets.

huh? Are you posting for Pat?

Pat is a credit to the game and I hope his new event is successful.

This is the inaugural International 9-Ball Open, so Pat's got too many details to iron out and no time to organize qualifiers.
I'm the TD, so I'm just trying to ensure success.
This has to be a grass roots effort at the local level, where room owners can make it happen.
So far, Sandcastle Billiards (Ed Liddawi) and Clifton Billiards (Vinny Sauro), both in NJ, have expressed their desire to hold qualifiers.
