There's money paid. I'm guessing the travel and the fact that they can't play on Mosconi keeps them home.

The dates are 16-18 of September so it starts on Sunday. They called it Dream challenge and it is organized by ABN billiards. They will provide live stream. The quality of stream was excellent last year, much better than it is in main event right now. Even on main TV table the picture is too dark, something wrong is with the lights I guess... but watchable...

Awwesome that they are streaming on 7 tables and it is free. Wish that the major tourneys will stream on so many tables and free also. The W9B few years ago when Kazoom was doing it was like that but they stopped :(

Looks like they had a redraw for the final 32. From the US, Ellerman, Woodward, Dominguez are out. Good to see Styer still in (beat Woodward). Corey also out - interesting that he’s there after not making the Mosconi cut.

I second this. Also this is on YouTube...so far every table has a flawless stream. No hang ups or delays. Enough with the Facebook streaming. YouTube is the best service by far for getting the product out to the masses on the cheap.
Also, I like knowing these matches will be archived for future viewing.

Great match between Thorpe and Filler. Thorpe up 6-2 (I think), Filler comes back to make it to the hill first at 7-6, and then Billy wins 8-7.

Are combinations not allowed? I'm watching Thorpe vs Kazakis and Kazakis just combed the 2 into the 10 and the 10 came back up. Is this a match or just practice?

edit : no it's a match. But again, why no early 10 combos?

No win on combo'd ten but you do get to keep shooting. I think its kinda strange myself.
