Ronnie O'Sullivan 1K Centuries - Contest!!!

What if he starts with a free ball and goes over 147?

then everybody wins a gift card

srs, a free ball maximum is such a rare occurrance that for it to coincide with his 1k century is almost a statistical impossibility. would be fun though

So it'll be Ronnie O'Sullivan vs. Judd Trump in the Finals in Northern Ireland; the match starts about 6 hours from now. It's a race to 9 (best of 17) played in two sessions. The second session starts at 7 pm local time (2 pm USA east coast).

Anyone have a link to a stream to watch the Finals?

[Trump's average shot time was nearly 2½ sec. faster than O'Sullivan's in their Semifinal matches. Who will be quicker against each other?]

As mentioned, just a super unlikely possibility.

If it does happen, I'll give the gift certificate to the person that has 147.

Yep I believe that when prize money is on offer for a “maximum” in a televised tournament, any break of 147 or more qualifies. Could be argued that it should only apply to a natural 147 or to a 155 but hey....

It is only for a 147 or 155.

148-154 is not a maximum and may win the high break prize, but not any maximum prize.

Could you tell what caused the delay at the beginning?

Maybe something was making a noise that was bothering Ronnie.

I went back to the english commentary stream just so I could try to find out, and they mentioned something about photographers.

Even though I have never played snooker I love watching it. Insanely hard and beautiful game. Everything in the production is first class.
