Zento Break Tips?

Zento break tips were recommended to me by an extremely reputable cue repairman as a quality break tip, along with Samsara, Taom and Gator. I did a search for any previous mention of Zento tips on any threads here, but couldn't find any. Can anyone here provide a review of Zento break tips, particularly compared to Samsara break tips? Thanks

You outta add the WhiteDiamondUltra to your list. Just put one on a basic J&J j/b and this thing is awesome. Chalks well, decent control and stupid ball speed. For 9bux(Amazon) i think its the nuts. Notice: just chk'd and they're 13bux now.

Zento

I have one on a jump cue, the tip is awesome! I have used the shaft on another butt to break with and I like it! The only problem is a tiny pin sized hole in the outside of the tip, it bothers me but not enough to spend $25 plus installation, to get it replaced. The hole doesn't seem to affect anything.
I think the tips are quit similar to Taom tips. I really like how they jump and break.
Good luck.

If you bend your cue and dig into the cloth you will sand zento tip. Other than that great tip

The only White Diamond tip I see on Seyberts is the White Diamond Break/Jump Tip - WDTIP listed at $7.95 each. Is that the same as the White Diamond Ultra tip, and if not, where can I get one? Looks like $12 for a 2-pack on Ebay, and can I assume the White Diamond and White Diamond Ultra are one-in-the-same tip?

Don't know if they changed them or not. I have this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/White-Diam...k-Jump-Cues-/352392069586?hash=item520c3441d2 Only thing i can see is the new one is finished smooth on the sides. Older one you could see the layers. Same stuff.

Based on the Picone Cues website, I'm only seeing the White Diamond tip offered, and not the White Diamond Ultra tip which I'm seeing on Ebay. I emailed in to him to confirm/clarify if they are indeed one-in-the-same tip or two different tips he offers.

I was curious and i emailed him also. Pretty sure only diff. is the finish. I had one of the older ones and it played/felt/sounded exactly like this ultra i just got. Great tip in my book.

WD Ultra, Picone's answer..................

I emailed JP about the two tips. He said the Ultras have thinner layers, are lighter in color and have smooth sides. Said the new ones glue better also. Performance is same if not a little better than the originals. He said he shipped last of the old ones 9mos ago. All current tips are the Ultra. BTW, i got this answer about an hour after sending. That's good cust. serv. in my book. I also told him he needs to update his website.

I did a break tip review of several tips including Zento and Taom. I'll try to find the thread. I believe the title was "Break tip shootout" or something like that, under my user name.
