Hi. It is Poolmanis going to Estonia play Mosconi ranking event: Datel Tallinn Open 2019. 91 players including some strong players like: Shaw, Gorst, Kazakis, Makkonen etc.. Most of the field is not so super strong but still nice tournament to get in.

I gonna post here stuff from trip and possible stream links and updates.

Wish me luck!

First step. Drive almost nine hours from northern Finland to Helsinki. Then get car and yourself into boat that carries you overseas to Estonia. :)

Good luck on your trip over the narrow sea :)
Hopefully the draw is on your side and you'll get deep in the field. With guys like those you mentioned playing it will be a tough tournament to stay in. Keep the updates coming and remember that unless there are pics to show it didn't happen ;)
I'll be rooting for your succes!

Pelionnea!

Nice! I took that boat over the summer.

Thanks for sharing. I look forward to reading about your world domination.

Get um!

So that boat from Helsinki to Tallinn is good? I was thinking of doing a Finland, Tallinn, St Petersburg trip next year. There is also a train from Helsinki to St Pete too. Any experience with that? Looks like they will open the new KymiRing next year

Well, sir, I hope you have been diligently practising....
...we need somebody from AZ to do well....
...we’re cheering for you...:clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping:

Probably not the first time in history a Finn came across that Gulf and started marauding.

Boat was a good choice. The ride itself was nothing special, but tallin was cool (though we only visited the old City).

As for Russia...my relatives said 'dont'. They are all 60+, so perhaps current Finn residents may feel differently.

There is a lot to do in Helsinki. I was there almost 2 wks and still had things we did not get to.

Ok, thanks. There is plenty for 2+ weeks, not to mention a trip up north to see the Lights. Maybe eat a little Rudolph with berry sauce too :D

Good luck my friend! Shoot well and have fun.
Was just mapping around google in Estonia, looks like a cool place:thumbup:

I had good draw and got some unknown Finnish player versus me 4pm local time.
I did drink quite a lot beer tonight due that and gambled some.

Babica seem not gamble at all because he did not want my money... Anyways we played practice set race to 5 also and I was happy to beat him 5-2.

Tables are slick and easy Brunswick Metros with buckets.
Rail cloth is still too new IMO but lets see how they play tomorrow. Stream table seemed to have 3 or 4 cameras and tighter pockets.

It was fun night with free drinks due some gambling matches.. :grin-square:

You can't see northern lights on summer. Sun wont go down about three months. If you want to see Lights you need to visit there winter.

Ah, thanks. Didn't think about that yet. I figure if and when they schedule the MotoGP race next year at the KymiRing it will probably be held in early summer I'd assume.
