look at pfdstudios.com

look at his legends cue
then look at the rest of his cues

I have been buying cues from him for over 20 years
I have always thought he was terrific ,but until I looked
at his body of work

I didn't know the half of it

True I am buying a new cue this week,it is only a simple birdseye maple merry widow
with an ebony wrap, you might wonder why I chose Paul Drexler

I just wanted a great playing cue that was right in every single area
I wanted a great playing cue, with perfect shafts

So I called Paul and he built it for me,I hope I can get pictures of mine too

Meanwhile, look at his cues,I know you will be speechless

If he is no one of t the best, who is?

I have been lucky enough to step foot in PFD Studios . Paul is a legend. Spent about 3 hours there talking with him and looking at so many things. If I did not have to be somewhere, I would have stayed until he told me it was time to go. He is restoring an old Brunswick Personal Cue for a friend of mine and I was dropping it off to him on my way up to Maine. I can't wait to get it back and see the look on his face when I give it to him. I also cannot wait to drop off materials for the cue I am getting made by him. Anticipation makes it all the more exciting when you get it in your hands right Dean??!! :)

Some good looking cues. Based on the level of detail, probably out of my price range right now.

I had for a few short moments thought that history was in the making...

...OK, for a few.

The following is the PFD I just picked up from order last month at Expo. I'm very happy with the fit, finish and feel.

btw dean,
seems like it would be a good time for you and the gang
to get out for a road trip to this West Monroe La. Efren 1 pocket showing 6 - 10 June,
straight east I 20. A good time for others here to match up and such...??
4 -5hr. drive for slow pokes should catch a lot of players.
you were looking for action... just saying?

i think i might just go see efren play
get some pictures taken with him

bet a few bucks
of course i would need a driver
then i get to missing my wife

to tell the truth the older i get the more i like being around her
on thursday friday and saturday we could both go

it does sound like fun to see the legend himself

imagine all the great pool he has played

what must it be like for him to pack up and travel to a strange land
play every living human for 30 years and never make one step to tarnish his reputation

who could have thought that this little fella would grow up take a pool cue and carve a place in the hearts of a nation or more

i don't care about professional pool as a rule
,but i love efren

his wonderful sportsmanship,infectious smile
outrageous pool ability

grace under pressure and just outright decency won him a place
in all our hearts,

to tell the truth I feel like we owe something to him
