Ghost ball’s rules are ball in hand with every shot. I still can’t beat him.

We never allow them in bottom 2, tournament or gambling when playing rack your own.

Same here. Someone said they played somewhere where it didn't count on the break at all. Never seen that.

You get BIH after the break, that's all. NOT on every shot.

Racked normally, BIH after the break only, 9 on the snap counts in
any pocket, any scratch is loss of game, slop, combos, caroms
count as a win... just like playing someone for the cheese.

I used to run a coin under each long rail to mark games won, at the
diamonds.. one side for me, one for the Ghost. $.02

I haven't played it much, but I'm trying 9-ball ghost as a way to practice- I'm sure the rules can vary, how do y'all play tho?

some questions I thought of on the table tonight-

is pattern-racking kosher?

does slop count?

how do scratches count? and off the break?

how to count 9-ball combos? golden breaks?
