Is the original post not a troll of some kind? If not then I’m truly curious about this sanded revo. What’s the purpose of sanding it? Just wanting a thinner diameter or a little roughness or something?
A misguided purpose. You can't just sand down carbon fiber without damaging it.

You can get as offended as you want. These new carbon filament shafts are a completely different animal. Those outer layer strands will run from the joint to the ferrule/plate/tip/whatever. Any sanding will have a direct compromise on the stability of the shaft. You’ve been hoodwinked.
