International Open

Max break is working after Mark jinxed him earlier 6-6
We could see a pack from Max

kevin cheng even had a high deflection cf shaft made..

I remember when he told Bob Meucci that he wanted a shaft with more deflection.

Taiwan players want, what they call, "strong" shafts. They don't like wimpy LD shafts.

They like Southwest (or similar) cues with shafts that are 13mm, and above.

I was in Taiwan in April and didn't see anybody playing with LD stuff.

Just curious. I'm WELL AWARE cue doesn't matter. I've been told its a Vollmer by multiple people. Pred. cues don't use ferrules that long.
It might definitely be he is playing with a Vollmer. As I said he played with a Revo in quite a lot of eurotours. It could be the Revo on his Vollmer butt and now he is back to his old school shaft (might be a Vollmer solid maple shaft?). Well here he is with may be the best performance so far in big international events. He is not the only one who switched back with a success and very likely not the last;).

Nice shooting and safety play by Max tied 8-8
We have a match

Congrats to Justin Bergman on having such a great tournament. He really showed up this week. It's disappointing that it had to end on a sour note with Justin having to play back again so early after a very long day of play that went late into the night. I'm not surprised he ran out of gas in his final match. He was probably running on fumes by then.

This is one time that the Captain of Team USA could upset the apple cart a little bit and pick the right guy to round out the team. Justin has played well in past MC's and partners well with either Skylar or Shane. It might be the tonic that revitalizes a lackluster looking Team USA right now.

I can dream can't I.
