Mosconi Cup 2019 Day 2 (26 Nov)

Huge miss on the 6 by Kazakis in game 2. Shane makes a very nice shot on the 6 and gets out to tie it at 1-1.

Match 10, SVB vs. Kazakis is almost ready to go, and the US has yet to win a singles match in the 2019 Mosconi. A win here would tie the Mosconi at 5-5 and wouldn’t that be exciting? We all remember that Shane scored the eleventh point a year ago playing against Kazakis in Match 20 to end the 2018 Mosconi, so we know he can do it. Ah but will he? As we know, the game isn’t played on paper.

It's gonna be tied at the end of the day.
Kazakis looks scared.

Btw, Shane has the ugliest cue there . :D

Huge miss on the 6 by Kazakis in game 2. Shane makes a very nice shot on the 6 and gets out to tie it at 1-1.

My stream has the player introductions going on right now, so I must be ten to fifteen minutes behind on DAZN US. Not sure whether I want to keep opening this thread as it is taking away the excitement of the Mosconi Cup for me.

You may hereby replace me in rack by rack coverage, but try to offer some details about the play, as our AZB posters enjoy it.

Kazakis not looking sharp, as the Euro coach gives him some words of encouragement between racks.

The 6 comes back up table near the 5, and Shane makes a nice stun-draw shot to get on the 6. Shane makes the 7 in the side, but gets a little thin on the 8.

Shane makes the 8, and the cueball winds up near the side pocket. Shane makes the 9 in the same corner pocket as the 8, to get to the hill up 4-1.

Dry break for Shane in game 6, as the 8 ball hangs in the corner pocket.

Kazakis makes the 1-8 combo, has to use the bridge to reach the shot on the 1.

Kazakis gets off-angle shooting the 2 up table in the corner, misses it by a half diamond.

Jer just said the table might be getting wet as he saw some clouds coming in outside. Now maybe we really will have a wet break. :D

Shane makes a nice cut on the 2, comes cross-table twice to get on the 3.

Kazakis looks disgusted in his chair.

Shane makes the 3 in the corner, up table for the 4 in the opposite corner, 5 in the side, 6-7 and 9, and the Mosconi Cup is tied at 5-5 after day 2!
