Wes Hunter custom pin is along with Mezz Wavy in my opinion the best pin on the market, its really tight and made well.

I think it has more to do with being able to use after market shafts and possibly doing personal maintenance.

Did you ever put together Wes Hunter cue? Its so tight pin&joint combo that with 2 twists its already tight... Similar to Mezz Wavy feel.
