The best blade I have found is Lenox carbide tipped.I get them @,lowes I think or could be Home Depot.

I use a regular double grit flat file. Rasp to trim, fine to smooth before sandpaper. I rotate the tip against the file in a faux lathing process. Takes some patience but you never get flat spots.

I’ve tried a BUNCH and like the Lenox Gold Titanium the best. They are more expensive than others but you get what you pay for. I buy the 100 pack from Amazon for $34.
