Cyclone Pool Ball Cleaner

I love my BallStar......... pricey but works great!
This thread is about a cleaner that is roughly 1/10th the price. You don't need to spend 5-600bux to clean balls every now and then. I could see one of these or a Diamond if had a commercial room but in a home setting i just don't see the need myself.

I don't use wax because I'm worried about the wax getting on the cloth and creating a mess. I use liquid soap and water which isn't perfect but it does rinse off and leave no residue on the cloth.

I get that........ if budget is a concern. Also depends on how much you play.

I know a few guys that have the BS in their home rooms and all love them.

I couldnt agree more. I didnt have to buy my Diamond polisher but since I have 3 sets of high end balls I didnt want to spend half of my weekly "pool time" cleaning balls. I like my ball sets to look exactly the way they do when you take a new set out of the box, my Diamond polisher does exactly that with no noticeable residue on the balls using the Aramith ball cleaner. Everyone that plays on my table likes the equipment as do I.

Get a Ballstar.......it is reliable and works great (8 balls at a time) ........it’s the the size of a crockpot.
Aramith polisher does not get on your table cloth. Newly polished pool balls have less throw and
the amount of cling will naturally vary based on the cleanliness of the balls. Clean pool balls make
the game more enjoyable & also play more consistently. In my opinion, Centennials look the very best.

You don't want to go the 5 gal bucket route... But you'll buy this?

Perhaps. Hence I’m asking for opinions. Many people say the bucket method is noisy and gives average results. I don’t need to clean balls often enough to spend $500, but also not convinced that the bucket method is the way to go. $60 is a pretty small investment, especially after the prices we pay for tables, balls, cues etc. but I still value others opinions.

Don’t Worry about Equipment man just Play !! It takes up to much of your time that you can use to perfect your game. Did Willie Mosconi or Fats worry about cleaning balls I think not. Just Play the Game and do the best you can with what you have.

Seeing how it seems like your lifetime pool goal is to spend the bare minimum i'd figure you'd be all over this thing. ;)

Garc , you seem to have missed my Sarcasm to all The Equipment haters. Again you cut me to the quick , You have to come to the Conclusion on your own my Friend that you do not have to go all out to be a decent player, You seem to be one of those who has to have the best Cigars , the newest Meucci Cue or newest revo shaft in order to play your best game. Wild Hog sort of if you see my Drift . I know a guy who most on this board could not handle in a pool game , problay the best breaker this is of the Usa that played with a old 1960's house cue with Black Tape on the handle and the Cue was not worth more than the $ 10 he paid for it , But it made him several thousands of Dollars thru the years Hustling . He said he would laugh at the guys who had the mostest expensive cues and ball sets and tables and chalk as he was walking out their door with their Money . So you see Money is not the prime objective here, Poor People have Poor ways and sometimes you have to do what you have to do. When you do not have alot of money but would like to have something half way decent you ask and do the best you can with what you have. As the Song goes " Walk a mile in my Shoes , Don't Critizie what you do not understand for you know not what that Man has been thru " . Some are Fortunate to have the best , It seems you are in that Crowd and more power to you , But Don't look down on Someone who has not been that Fortunate. It just amazes me how some of you seem to get your Panties in a Bunch when someone ask a Question , SO WHAT , Pool Died a few years ago whether you know it or not and at least asking these so called silly questions at least sparks some intrest in the game. If you do not like it move on another thread. Pool will never be like it was , The Kids just don't get into it anymore like we did growing up. It will never be the same.

It just looks like a 6” pvc cap lined with something and a buffer pad. Not a bad markup.
