Well after reading your screenshots, I'm sorry you had to deal with this guy. He threatens you in one sentence, then says a few later he did not threaten you. And he calls you "boy" continuously. I think you did a good job keeping your cool, and sticking to the issue at hand, rather than attacking him like he was attacking you.

Even if he was 100% right about the cue, the way he treated you is a red flag to me. I'd definitely never do business with that guy.

I try to refrain from name calling.
It is usually used as a distraction from the facts.

The fact that he "doesn't want to part with" a cue means he wants to dump more shit on you. He's angling to get the best tof you in every discussion. File the disputes and get your money back. He's got major ethics issues and you'll never come out even.

So,

In August 2019 I decided to try a very pretty JD cue. $675

Great looking cue!
It hit pretty well, just couldn’t get used to the leather wrap, sold it for a small loss

The original seller had another JD wrapless this time for sell along with a very nice TS sneaky pete. I bought them both. $1650

The TS was perfect and as described. Pre sold and delivered within 24 hours

The JD was very good looking but only had one shaft.
In the process of trying to have another shaft made, it was discovered that the pin was offset and another shaft could not be easily produced. It was also discovered that the forearm or handle had significant movement. Around 8-10 thousands total measured at the pin.

I contacted the seller requesting a refund.
He refused.
He said I could either send it back to JD and wait for it to be repaired
Or
He would trade me out of the cue

I asked for a replacement cue.

I waited for sometime, on several occasions, I offered to pay the difference on some higher priced cues, seller refused.
I was offered some small cuemaker cues that I am unfamiliar with.
Finally in October I was offered a Pechaur cue and was sent 4 photos.
I agreed to the trade.

Once I received the “pechaur” cue, I noticed that there was no markings on the cue of any kind.
I do believe the cue is a Pechaur but it has been refinished by someone other than Pechaur and the signature was removed.
In my honest opinion, a refinished unmarked cue has been seriously depreciated.
I brought this to the sellers attention to which he replies, “I totally agree and forgot.”

I again request a full refund or a replacement.

The seller refuses to do anything further.

Should all be made aware of this persons actions?
I agree that you got a bad deal. However the transaction should have been straight forward once you were not happy with the first cue. The cue should have been (repaired or replaced with the same item). Once the "make it right" attempt was accepted the transaction has become something new.
So the next transaction that has issues just have the original cue fixed, replaced or get a refund. So neither party is really guilty of being "wrong". However poor choices were made thru out the transaction. My opinion.

Wow. The popcorn was good at least!

I feel bad for you dude. If it were me, I'd probably just cut my losses and out the guy. People like this aren't worth the trouble to deal with. Small claims court if you're wanting to travel and piss with it.

I agreed to his “make it right” option out of shear lack of options.
I requested a full refund, seller refused “medical bills” was to blame.

Let us all know who this guy/company is, please. We can decide how big a deal it is. Always better to shine a light on people that don't treat their customers well.

His name is listed in the screenshots on the first page.
