Threads For Strickland Signature Cuetec?

I want to buy a low deflection cuetec shaft for my strickland signature cue. From what I understand Cuetec has changed the threads on the pin since I picked this cue up in 2000. All the sources I see show cuetec as having 3/8 - 14. Is it the same from then or not? Can anyone help me out with this?
