Why complicate the matter unnecessarily? (Why? Coz you are in academia and few efficiencies or measurable returns are needed)

Use your words. 3 balls and a cue ball on the table, pick your game.... What would conventional shot choices look like and what would you suggest as viable alternatives to a person who is a beginner? And to a novice? And to a pro?

corner pocket is the place
however player misses and leaves a hanger
because the pocket target changes, its not a hanger.

the main difference is a player can have more margin of error. and be punished less for missing shots.

player loses turn and incoming player now has stress. player has to think about pocket and table leave.
 
Does anyone have left corner pocket replacements for a 10ft AMF table?
I am not sure if I can use a right corner pocket to replace a left corner pocket, does it matter?
