Probably not made due to licensing reasons\excuses, but I'll ask anyways.
I've looked several times on the Net but can't find this animal... a Measles magnetic cue ball.
Thanks

I have played under a lot of bad conditions....but I would never gamble with a magnetic cue ball.

Team mate has a bar box. After he got his we're hearing several do and more are looking into getting one.
I fig'd I'd look into it, maybe sell a few Magnetic Measles balls. Never know who want's what & when.

No one sells a magnetic measle ball.

Aramith has some of the good resin in a few different magnetic balls. The Red Triangle ball is a delight.

Diamond bar boxes automatically return Aramith Red Circle cueballs without magnets

Thanks most for positive and mature feedback.
I'll have to get a Magnetic Ball and print up some.

Valley, same as the league here.
This might be a stupid thought here, but it would be easy to remove a spring or cut a piece of wood to keep the ball tray down if you want to play with a real measles cue ball. It's not a difficult fix, doesn't damage the table and can be reversed at any time. The only downside is that the CB goes into the regular ball area instead of at the break end. Unless he's charging quarters this is a good solution, my buddy's table is set up that way.

Aramith does make a magnetic cueball just not with the dots https://www.ozonebilliards.com/product/aramith-magnetic-tournament-cue-ball

You would not want one anyway for use with a bar table set of balls, due to the size/weight/construction difference it would play weird. For some reason a bunch of people at a local place by me started to buy and bring the Aramith measle ball to use, but they keep the rest of the set the same old set the pool hall has LOL. Sure the cueball is nicer, but now the weight and size is off and the thing plays funny, but all they know is "hey I got a cool looking good cuball the cool kids use".

Just open the table and use any set of balls with it, as above suggestions since it's a home table. Heck even for a bar place, ask them to open the side for league play.

I thought it may have explained why you can’t get a magnetic measle
I’ve never seen a magnetic ball of quality
Ever played with one of these PT? Made with Aramith's best resin.

Plays just fine on a valley bb at a friends house.

I love that ball

This is the same ball without the valley branding. Magnetic with the duramith resin. It's what I use and I like it better than the measles ball I have.

I bought it so that, once tournaments start again around here, I am used to retrieving the cueball from the right ball return. I wasn't looking for a better ball, but it is.

Stay off the toy box. Problem solved.
A perfect solution, except for one thing....
For me, there isnt a 9 foot table within 50 miles of me. So it's a bar box, or nothing. Believe me .... I'd be playing on a 9 footer if I had a choice.

Aramith makes two magnetic tournament balls.... a green logo, and a purple logo. I agree with Mick.... The purple is better quality.

Yes we already leave the ball window/door on the floor.
Measles Ball is the same size & weight of the regular balls.
Wondering, does anyone complain of the 2-3/8" cue ball with 2-1/4" object balls?

I’ll have to check it out...admittedly, I have little experience with bar tables....when I was an action guy, I would only play
with the oversized cue ball...it’s different but predictable. I spin a lot, any any ball with a weight in it was unpredictable.
....sometimes it would push off the tip, sometimes it would massé, depending which side the weight was on.
I saw a good bar player miss a spot type shot all together with outside english.
I knewva guy who owned several Valleys, he would buy cue balls in boxes of 16...he would test them by rolling off a small ramp....sometimes he would send the whole box back.

I‘ve seen those ’top’ cue balls....but it was 15 years ago...they weren’t so good...maybe they are now.
