Yes, that was the original intent.

Then this happened...... which changed the whole dynamic of the searching for pricing advice.
The offer intent was not only made to me but others also turning it into basically an auction.
Now, if you had replied to my PM or sent me an email asking for an offer then it is basically 2 people talking about price and not the entire forum which in essence turns it into a public auction.
