Greetings Fine People
Does anyone have some information about pool table sales in 2020? Home tables for personal use. Im curious about the pandemic spending habits as the growth of many home items grew during the lockdowns. I want to know if home tables had an uptick as well. Thank you in advance, any help is appreciated.

Wholesale sales of billiards sports equipment in the U.S. 2007-2020

Published by D. Tighe, May 20, 2021
The statistic depicts the manufacturers (wholesale) sales of billiards equipment in the U.S. from 2007 to 2020. In 2020, wholesale sales of billiards equipment amounted to just under 160 million U.S. dollars. In 2007, sales amounted to 177 million dollars. From 2007, sales volume has gradually declined. When adjusted for inflation, sales appear bleak.

Home table sales have shot up in my area...I suspect it will be the same for the whole continent.
...wholesale look has to be brutal...high lease rates were already bad long before the pandemic..
...with room operating freedom on a tight rein, why would anyone want to open a new room?
....and if they do, gotta be lots of good used tables available.

When I ordered my Diamond table last December it was a 4 month backorder. It was ready when promised, in April.

Raw materials have increased recently and labor seems kinda short currently. Increased prices probably reflect these conditions more than increased demand.
With published sales totals all the way back to 2007, it would be hard to blame declining sales on materials and labor.

I thought Diamond tables were made to order. Does anybody know for certain how orders are processed at Diamond? Do they maintain a standing inventory? How many SKUs do they run? From start to finish, how long does it take Diamond to assemble one of their tables? Are all of the table's components machined and ready for assembly so there is no lag time?

Took almost 14 weeks for an Olhausen furniture table to be delivered. They said it was a combination of increased orders and a shortage of manpower that caused the long time frame.

I have been looking on CL for tables in the mid south area and have seen very few quality tables. $1500 for a crappy 7 footer. I am glad there are a lot of halls in the area we are planning on moving to. I really think that there will be bunches of tables back on the market now that the pandemic is slowing down. Lot of impulse buyers .

Considering how many billiards companies are privately held and don’t report quarterly or annual sales, I don’t know if there’s an accurate way to compile this.

Please forgive me. I did not do the research to support the following. This list came for the internet.

The report also presents the market competition landscape and a corresponding detailed analysis of the major vendor/manufacturers in the market. The key manufacturers covered in this report: Breakdown data in in Chapter 3.
