I would appreciate the thoughts from our cue makers here on retro fitting a Balance Rite cue extension for a Mike Bender cue I own. I inherited one that is to short and to light for my liking so I am considering this option. I have a complete set of weight bolts for the Bender that came with it so I can use those to compensate if the balance needs some adjusting from the back end.. PM is fine as well if it is preferred....

The work it would take to convert one would probably be more than it would cost to just have a custom one built. Since it's not a standard pin size, you'd have to replace the one in the extension, and then bore, plug, re-thread the other end of it. Finding or making a pin for it might be the worst part.

Is the Bender pin custom made by Mike?? That is something I would not have considered...

I can't say for sure, but he's the only one I know of that uses it.
I believe he may be making his own pins. They are all engraved MJ BENDER. At least the one I own is and one of a friend is as well. Makes adding anything exponentially more problematic... Thanks for your input it's appreciated...

Ask Rick at Esoteric cues. His joint screw is 3/8x14. Mr Bender on top. I believe Ricks is the photo right.

Besides coming on here once in a while, I don't know what he's doing.

Does anyone know who manufactures the Balance Rite cue extension. I have searched and come up completely empty.. I am running out of options......
