last time i traveled I just saw the ad in Billiard Digest for Derby and went.

Basically a pool tournament is luxury carnival at least when its in a pricey hotel.
Promote it as such.
My cousin lives in Las Vegas, everything is pricy. Rooms, food, shows, parking, resort fees.
Have zero desire to go there again. It Vegas is in business of taking your money, charging for everything.

Pretty sure he means the US Open, which is not in Vegas. How do you possibly spend as much time on a pool forum as you do, and NOT know where and when the US Open is?

If that's your answer, than my question also applies to you. I haven't looked, but I'd be willing to bet that both of you posted in the thread where they announced the US Open would be in Atlantic City.
Well when I think of Harrah’s I think of Las Vegas, know it’s been over 12 years since I was in Vegas.
Could care less about US Open, or Hopkins. SBR Expo. Both are not in bucket list.
