Just moved to Tulsa from out of state. Anyone know of any good pool halls??

Mental

I wanna play pool now
Hi everyone. Just moved to Oklahoma from out of state a few days ago. I been on Google briefly searching pool halls in the area but the couple I have seen, seem to be all bar boxes and more of bar type places. Anyone know of any good pool halls in the area with some 9 foot tables? Maybe even with a day time 'all you can play' special rate? TIA

Edit: I searched the Pool Room Review forum here already and found one pool hall recommended in the Oklahoma area which is Chesters. But that is a road trip for me from here unfortunately.

Magoo's is only place in Tulsa with big tables. Sandites in Sand Springs is pretty good spot too.

Ill look into these. Do you happen to know if they have a day time special? How do you feel about Sharkys? Looks like they have 9 footers and from the images seem to be well cared for. Appreciate the info!

Sharky's is ok but Magoo has best equip. $4/hr per person til 6p and then its $10 or 11/hr per table. 10 GC 4's, 3 older Diamonds. 10 Diamond 7's and 6 Valley 7's. Cuemaker in house(Eddie Farris). Full bar and food.

Magoo's still have that big old snooker table at the back end of the bar with all the older guys playing golf every day?

Back in the day between Magoo's and the old Billiard Palace,Tulsa was one of the deepest places in America as far as the local talent pool,a couple dozen 700+ Fargos in those spots practically every night, and a few hundred that might not play that good but are smart AND would bet it up.

Then you had a handful of stone cold killers like Fat Randy,James Walden, and Dave Matlock was always around. Tommy D.
