I was surprised that the just-posted Blomdahl run of 22-and-out made a match score of 50. For a long time most of the top events have been to 40 points. It turns out that there have been a few changes to the format. The last 32 are now in round-robin groups of four with two advancing to single elimination. The matches are to 40. The elimination portion seems to be matches to 50.

It is currently listed on the UMB calendar as March 27 to April 2, 2022. I believe this will be co-located with the BCAPL (pool league) championships which will be at the Rio in Las Vegas, also ending on the 2nd.

Right, and with the WPA World 10 Ball. That will be packing a lot in.
