DAZN failure

I think the difference is, you might have already been logged in and subscription up to date. I was logged in but could not continue until I re-upped my subscription, which I couldn't do.
Yeah that's my problem too. I can't unpause my subscription. I can log in fine (well sort of - the site is still pretty glitchy).

I'm just watching the highlights on YT now, hopefully things get back up and running by tomorrow.

Alkami and Wowza work very well for our needs, at 3 cents a gig.

And how do you connect to those services? Do you have direct line of sight RF towers (costing hundreds of thousands of dollars?), or do you have a direct physical line to their servers? Do you know how much that cable would cost to get permits for and then ultimately install for possibly thousands of miles?

And how do those people connect to the rest of the world? Do they have direct line of sight RF towers (costing hundreds of thousands of dollars each - and each recipient would need his/her own tower), or do they have a direct physical line to their servers - remember - to have 100% guaranteed uptime without relying on someone else the end user would need DIRECT access to their servers.

Point being - regardless of what "service" you use, you will always be reliant on one of the big tech companies.

End of story.

No I am in Asia....but hey look I'm not going to tell you this secret but "vpn is a thing" *wink*
and just about every provider can detect one these days and shut you out. I have one-one i pay for- and it is more and more useless every day. Same thing with ad blocking software.

If everyone has something special then it's not so special anymore.

I miss the old days when VPN's were a thing for nerds.

I was able to get back in, but now the replay is glitching with an error message.

Yep even with private FR towers / microwave, you are still reliant on power grid and even something like solar flares knocking out the service or lighting strikes on the towers, or a squirrel chewing a cable.

Well I click it and it isn't on and I don't use a vpn and don't intend to get one just to watch pool

I tried being the righteous man but it was a fail. Now where are the links to the hacks?
Sorry for late response its not hacks, VPN is legit for security. There are some free vpns out there, even some browsers give you a free vpn for security like opera gx. I also use hotspot shield which I paid for like 6 years ago for lifetime usage and never paid a penny ever again, still works.

Yep, been looking for a while just haven't chosen one yet. Who do you use?
Sometimes I use the free in-browser plugin which can be added either to chrome or opera gx, other times I use the built-in opera gx one also free. But also I can use another service called Hotspot shield which I paid for 6 yrs ago for a lifetime premium membership, I paid once and never paid anything again and still works, this hotspot can be installed to the computer and give you privacy for the whole computer or you can also install the plugin and just be used for the browser itself which is nice.

I'm sorry maybe you're using it wrong? I've never been detected if I didn't want to.

Just like my ad blocking stuff, the VPN worked flawlessly until about a year ago when i started getting messages similar to "We detect a VPN and you cannot have access"-As soon as i turn it off, im in.

Maybe they know the VPN provider IP addresses thats a possibility otherwise how would a site know and say "We detect a VPN" unless they know the ip adressese of that VPN. Anyways a possible reason for this is a cheap or free VPN which doesn't have many ip addresses... For my VPN I can choose which country to connect from. Usually if I want to watch something in the UK, I choose UK ips. if I want to watch something in America I choose California or Newyork or any other american states. VPN is good sometimes.

I was considering buying 1 month, but I remembered something about previous streaming issues, so I decided not to purchase. Thankfully, I did not subscribe.

They make the IP addresses public. Not hard for a site to block vpn users if they choose, but they are running the easy risk that they are blocking VPN users from within their own country and not those just picking the country of choice for their VPN to hide behind. I use Nord for certain things.

As i said previously, i PAY for my VPN-StrongVPN is its name.

As I mentioned before, when everybody has something special, then it's not special. Now that the entire world knows about VPN's there are "tech" companies creating VPN software that doesn't necessarily meet the standards of the VPN's of years past and then you have issues like you have. A true VPN will not allow those things to happen. I went with ExpressVPN for that reason, I didn't just get a VPN to watch this match, I've been thinking and looking for about a year.

I have no experience with StrongVPN, and it does get 4 stars on TechRadar, but I don't even remember reading the name when I was doing my research. While ExpressVPN is at the top of the list when searching for the most trusted VPN.

One thing I'll point out is, ExpressVPN has "no serious logging" which is one of the things you're looking for in a VPN.
