I have a joss for nick varner cue. Dan Janes said he made a few for nick varner way back and i acquired this one back in the 80s. Mint condition and wondering what it might be worth even though i am not looking to sell it. I have only seen one on here like it with a different color wrap posted back in 2006.

You gotta post pics when you ask these questions.

How did you happen to acquire the cue? Do you know that the cue was actually owned by Nick Varner? Is there a possibility you can come up with a picture of him with the cue?

It's possible he may have a won some tournaments with it. Give Nick a call, I talk to him off and on he picks up the phone. You can email him some pictures of the cue

If you can verify that it was his cue and he may even have won a major tournament with it then you probably got something. Otherwise all you have is a Joss cue.

Read that link i posted. These cues were made for Nick to sell according to SJ. They didn't make many of these. Fairly rare from what i'm finding out.

Dan Janes said it was made by him. Said he made a few for Nick. I assume he sold them or gave them away. He didnt say how many he made. I got it in a pool hall back in the early 80s i think. Could have belonged to RJ LeDart or Scotty Townsend. Just a guess but they both played there a lot.
