No the problem is with you. Everyone else knew he was kidding but you have to scold him with Nazi references. Jeez. That is problem with written word, you see no body language, or facial
expression so some time good morning can be offensive.
Yep, that make a lot of sense. What a great contribution you have made to this thread.Back under your rock....

I like it when your on vacation!
Speaking of “think skull”s, back in your rodeo days did you ever get kicked in the head?It appears your easy offended using history as something to maketurn on in your think skull.
If we ignore history & do not learn from its lessons, it will return again & again.
Bad & Good.
My uncle was captured by the Japanese while in the Philippines, they transported prisoners in what they called hell ships it was like an old slave ship, they left the dead hanging from the chains till they got to Japan, they had to stand in their own pee and poo the whole trip. one can only imagine!Makes sense. I’m not too knowledgeable about history-no excuses.
Harmed no one well maybe your 1/2 right. If you read story i linked yesterday it was his SECOND VISA VIOLATION.
So he broke rules twice, got caught, only got turned away, and was allowed to return home.
People drive over speed limit all the time, but when caught cry about being caught.
Customs Officials are charge with enforcing rules, that is sometime a thankless job. Because some people dislike you doing job.
OK, then, what half of a Person did he harm first? What Person did you harm when you drove over the limit? etc.
He harmed no one, yet he is being harmed. That's unjust.

Do you think there should no travel restrictions for foreign nationals? I understand that the southern border is a clusterfuck that is easily fixable but should foreign nat's be able to just come and go as often as they want without filing for citizenship? I don't think they should. There's nothing unjust about DO's situation. He's fully aware of his visa regs. He's the one that made the mistake.OK, then, what half of a Person did he harm first? I was making a generalization. They don't always stay home for the exact same amount of time. It depends on their tournament schedules and other things that are going on in their personal lives. You know for a fact how long they stay home each time? Problems arise when you combine long stays here and short stays back home. Good luck arguing your point if that's what you're doing. I read in more than a couple places that if you stay the full six mos you should spend at least 4mos back home. The longer the better. What they're trying to stop is using a visa for what amounts to borderline citizenship. A few weeks after a long stay will red-flag you quik.
You're still rolling the dice if you combine long stays here and short stays at home. Sure some will get thru the cracks but as DO just found out you can get caught out.I was making a generalization. My mother-in-law is Filipino and she also has a vistor visa. She visits for the full 6 months and wants to be in the US as much as possible so I am in a very similar situation to Dennis and the others. Because of this, I have been paying close attention some of their travel schedules. Mostly James Aranas ever since he first started coming here about 4 years ago. He usually goes home for about a month, twice per year. I've also talked with Roy's Basement several times to inquiry about visas and various travel strategies over the years.
I'm by no means an immigration expert but I've had a lot more experience than most with immigration proceedings/regulations. The process is expensive and very difficult to navigate but I've managed to accomplish a lot on my own without hiring an immigration attorney. For example, I helped my wife get a her green card and eventually citizenship. I helped my mother-in-law get a vistor visa and I'm currently in the process of helping her get a green card. All in all, I probably would have paid well over $15,000 in legal fees by now if I hired an attorney to do what I did.

Wow. I actually agree here. I think. No we need borders, laws, and enforcement we my to be country.
Even history societies had rules, and regulations.
What do you wish for?
Utopia where person with biggest stick rules, or end your life.
Absolutely. My only point is that the rules aren't black and white. They aren't even written down. All it says is 6 month maximum stay. That's it. The rest is at the discretion of the immigration officer at the border. So Dennis is not stupid for "not knowing the rules". He's been doing this for the past 20 years without any issues until now. You're still rolling the dice if you combine long stays here and short stays at home. I agree that it shouldn't be so vague. Should be clear cut rules and not the whim of one immig. officer.Absolutely. My only point is that the rules aren't black and white. The system is a little ridiculous. For example, when I was first applying for a vistor visa for my mother-in-law, we had all of the paperwork together and we met all of the requirements but she still had to go to an interview at the embassy. The interview is really just a formality. Well, she travelled 12 hours to the embassy and then waited in line all day for her interview. Finally, it was her turn and the guy barely looked at her 50+ pages of paperwork. He just asked her just a few short questions, which she answered correctly, and then denied her application.
I didn't know what to do so this was the only time I reached out to an attorney for help. The attorney said that sometimes the immigration officer might just not be in the mood. So we just reapplied with the exact some information and she was approved the second time. So stupid...
Being punished because someone didn't follow the rules is not unjust. Its fair. Whether we like the rule or not is irrelevant.
Comparing slavery to a guy snoozing his visa dates??? Please.Bunk.
The easiest example that proves otherwise is slavery was legal, but never lawful.
Who owns Dennis? No one lawfully owns him but himself.
