Koreans sure can! PBA league(Professional Billiards association) tournament Final match and final set.
I can´t understand a word but oh boy it is well made product!
Not sure what was prize money on this tourney but i think it is okay. At least couple players already made over 100.000€ this year and season not over yet.

Yes. Banks are double. They make a draw for each starting position so game starts always one of many possible combinations. I don´t exactly know how many there is but, my guess at least 27. There is no equalizing inning so that why break should not be so big advantage. Many times referees also hot asian women ;).
Btw i heard Caudron got 1million Euro deal couple years ago to just come play league! Now he won 2 in row.. Not too shabby :D

when you write banks do you mean kick shots? in billiards it's usually meant that way, i.e. a rail first shot is a bank shot. they get double points for that?

Yes. 3C players use bank shot name that pool players say kick shot. Yes, they get 2 points from bank shots. I think because then there is more cool shots in game that normal 3C. Without 2 point rule players probably tried some kinda defense try...

You mean anyone good or just anyone?

My primary cue is a Kilby, I have both pool and carom shafts. The pool shafts have a conical taper also.

Sometimes I think I hear thunder on a especially good strike, but maybe that's just the drugs...

There used to be many Korean carom rooms near me and they played 2points for rail first shots.

Those guys knew some crazy shots and could close a big score gap quickly.

Kim Ga Young just won 20 mill won (20k usd) for an event, and Phoebe (I don’t how she rights her name in English) just won 30 mill won.

Frederic Caudron won the 4th PBA title defeating tough challenger Jae-ho Cho by 4:1sets in the final, Averag 3.550/HR8.
Huge attention from global carom lovers were brought to the first confrontation between 2 superstars known as fastest-gun of East and West.
Contrary to the expectations of fans, FC dominated the match taking the first 2 Sets in 4&3 innings.
Average 4.286 until then.
JHC trailed fiercely taking 3rd Set but FC closed the match ruthlessly by taking last 2 sets in 2&7 innings.
FC was again awarded winner prize 73,000 Euros worth check plus Welbank bast average special award 3,000 Euros.
Big pay-day(twice in a month) and bonus day for FC who was invincible last 2 PBA Tours.
Roughly counting, FC has earned 330,000 Euros only by prize money since joining PBA 30 months ago.
Believe FC made the perfect choice (at the right moment) of turning to true professional carom billiard player in PBA and will prove the carom world (especially to next generations) that carom pro-players also can be Rich & Famous, following successful pro-snooker tour WST.
Too bad for JHC who again blew his second chance but this NH Championship is not the end of the PBA Tour.
He may have felt a lot of pressure as the leader of NH Team who happens to be the sponsor of this tour.
Jae-ho Cho reached the final winning young Keon-hwi Cho 4:3 in SF1.
Jong-ju Lee lost to FC in another SF but this tour must be a turning point for his future life in PBA.
Special Award TS Shampoo Perfect Q (first player closing a set in 1 inning) 10 MLN KRW(7,500 Euros) went to Jeong-geun Park who closed his restaurant and started PBA career from Dream Tour(2nd Div.).
Number of YouTube viewers went over the past PBA TV records from SF1/Cho vs Cho and continued until the end of Final.
Promising sign for the future of carom at least in a country.
PBA will be back with Team League 6R soon!

couldn't watch with that banner that flashes every shot or so. i hope that isnt the future of video things.

Well, I watched all the way through. Couldn't view the last 2 shots, 4 YUGE SCREENS (Adverts?) popped up on the table.
The absolute ignorance & moronic stupidity of GOOFle to do that.
