Here is a very simple, looks like house cue conversion..... hopefully someone recognizes it.

Wrap was in bad shape had to go. Took it off and found this construction technique

Looks like another titanium or aluminum pin

I'd guess that this is a very early cue of whoever made it. They had some education, but that a-joint is going to be a disaster and may have contributed to the poor wrap condition. Once they figure out a better forearm connection, they'll probably have something.

Your right the wrap came loose right at the joint crack.

Yeah, not surprising. That's how people learn. I expected that problem on my first pointed cue and it only turned out okay.

Guy might get better, he might not. He might quit.

Might be that the cue was never intended to be sold. I wouldn't waste much time identifying it. If the maker had turned into something, he has nothing to gain by admitting it is his. If he hasn't made a name for himself the cue is worth exactly what it was yesterday, and that value depends on you.

I'm guessing there was a clicking from there for a long time before failure.
It won't even screw all the way in there was and still is a tiny gap.

Surprised it wasn't filled with linen.

Guess they got tired of grinding the pin down and said 1/32in gap is fine.

Think I found my new playing cue.
It dead straight and hits really really well.

I'd believe that, I love shooting with a well balanced/weighted house cue. I don't even bring my cues to work anymore and just grab a stick off the wall when I go play during lunch.

This clearly looks like a random bar cue conversion by a newbie.
