Do you know all the specs of the table?
I’ve answered this numerous times.

Do you know all the specs of the table?
I know how he operates.
Double talk.
I have worked with plenty of people like him.
We had a fuel spill here that has, so far, cost over $250M and the costs are rapidly rising.
Fuel leaked into the main aquifer supplying drinking water to the military housing areas surrounding Pearl Harbor.
You can't count the number of Admirals, civilian military Secretaries, and their PAOs tap dancing and speaking double talk.
FWIW, I know the whistleblower and everybody involved in the whole scenario.

Whistleblower Says The Navy Gave False Testimony About Red Hill Fuel Facility - Honolulu Civil Beat
A naval officer told the state health department that there are corrosion issues, including "holes in tanks," that are being hidden from regulators.www.civilbeat.org
The Navy initially denied reports of the leak, saying the water was safe to drink. Shortly after, military families and residents began reporting a strong smell of fuel in their water. More than 5,000 people reported illnesses, and many families reported that pets had fallen ill or died. Later tests showed contamination that was 350 times above safe drinking levels. The Navy later confirmed the leak, temporarily closed the facility and relocated affected service members to temporary housing — but not civilians affected.
Man, just like with Hu’s nuclear plant, the best part of AZB is when you get a glimpse into the wild world of some members’ non-pool related lives.
Jayson Shaw put on a clinic and deserves accolades for his 714.
However, the complete specs of the table need to be revealed so that any future attempts can be done on a table with the same specs so that accurate comparisons can be made.
He ran hundreds of balls on multiple attempts, but he also made many, many multiples of balls that would NEVER go on ANY normal Gold Crown in Hawaiian Brian's or any other pool hall in Hawaii.
in Derby both players play on the same table. If they play one pocket and bottom right pocket is a little more favorable then bottom left - they play alternate breaks and next game you can choose the more favorable pocket. So this problem doesn't come up in Derby normally.
If it's a high run event and there is a price (like world record) for the high run but John Schmidt is allowed his tries only on a 5'' table while Jayson Shaw is allowed to play on 5 1/4'' table, then most viewers probably wouldn't consider it fair.
And no one is screaming. I never got louder.![]()
When the stream stopped, Bobby said the video would be posted later that day.
A man of integrity, a man of his word would keep his promise no matter the circumstances, that led to this promise.
If I am not thinking clearly when I promise my Grandma to pick her up at the airport I would still do everything to pick her up in time if it is somehow in the range of my possibilities.
For other people their word might be of lesser importance
I don't care if I have to pay to see Jayson's run in full. Just pointing out things I find interesting. Human behavior is an interesting topic...
you would have guessed wrong.
But I understand your reaction. When people feel that they are not in control, they adopt what psychologists call a hostage mentality. That is, in moments of conflict they react to their lack of power by either becoming extremely defensive or lashing out.
Neurologically, in situations like this the flight-or-flight mechanism in the reptilian brain or the emotions in the limbic system overwhelm the rational part of our ming, the neocortex, leading us to overreact in an impulsive, instinctive way.
(This is from the book by Chris Voss, former FBI hostage negotiator)
By the way, if lying is a big part of your job description I could provide you with some further reading to improve your skills in this area.
That photo provided of the digital clamp they used to measure the pocket tells absolutely nothing! You can’t see from the photo where the mouth points of the pocket actually start. In my specific sample yes it does. However I could use on the pairs I have that doens't include the scale. My image is an extreme example of the point.
The point is that digital clamps can have their read outs manlipulated, and when dealings with increments in the 0.062 range it's significantly more difficult to use the scale.
I am not claiming that the group at Legends of Billiard Pocket Billiards have done anything nefarious. Just saying hat we need to stop hanging our hats on the pic of this digital clamp.
That’s a good thing for you guys! I’m sure you’ll have no trouble getting this run certified by someone at the BCA who has absolutely no clue what the real issue is here. There is not now, nor in the las fifteen years, an BCA record accreditation committee. Good luck in finding when an accreditation committee existed. Just two business marketers of their product lines, which no longer involves billiards. Only a pool player members database. CSI, has owned their pool leagues for years.

I’m guessing they won’t even bother doing or having already done an in-person inspection of the table. This is the pool industry we’re dealing with, so the bar has been set very low.
this is what is commonly referred to by "not standing to your word". I understand the reasoning and I understand that not everybody is a man of integrity or o man of his word. It's very old fashioned and was am important virtue of a gentleman some years ago. Times change. People change. He just got caught up in the moment, then thought better of it.
Lou Figueroa
So comparing your guy’s table to Schmidt‘s table is the low bar you have set to try to make this run appear legitimate? That’s funny.ah, you have the complete specs on John’s table — what are they?
Here, let me help you out. I showed this photo to a table mechanic at the DCC and he said, “Now those are some big pockets.”

so if he is caught up in the moment and says, he would pay $ 50.000 to someone who can run 626+ balls and then thought better of it and decided to offer the run as pay per view and give all this money to the player instead it's also no big deal. It's called mistake in the real world. He just got caught up in the moment, then thought better of it.
Lou Figueroa
No, I guess they’ve been just as secretive as you guys have. Not comparing anything, just mentioning what a well regarded table mechanic said.
I also asked if you have the specs for his table since you mentioned them.

Or if I challenge a player to a match for 200$ and after losing the match I remember, that I don't have this money on me. Honest mistake.
You are funny. Sorry. You would be better off following Bobby's advice and refrain from further comments.
Yeah right. You know what i mean. Are you saying Schmelke set up the table?
No, John has been just as secretive as you guys have, which is exactly my point as to why you guys couldn’t have been a little more honest. As you guys have obviously been very critical of John, I don’t see that you have done anything different, except maybe widen the pockets a little more. Not comparing anything, just mentioning what a well regarded table mechanic said.
