Hey guys,

I have an Alex Brick jump/break cue and the shaft connects perfectly when screwing in, however, the back part of the cue does not screw in at all anymore. I'm guessing it has crossthreaded. I'm talking about the back part of the cue that separates to turn it into a jump cue, or attached if you need to break, not the shaft threading.

Is there any easy way to fix this or would I have to send it to a custom cue maker?

Thanks.

RIP Alex Brick

No easy fix if it is cross threaded, will need professional help. How are the threads on that pin?

Anyone with a tap to match the threads should be able to run it down and straighten it out.

Any cuemaker should be able to repair this easily. If you know a machinest with tools, they can probably fix it if it hasn't been twisted too far
Taps, dies, thread counters.

As mentioned, should/could be an easy fix.

Post your location and maybe someone close will chime in.
