Please read the whole description before purchasing the cue! This cue is not 100% original!
I got this cue from a client as part of a consignment sale.
This cue was originally built by Ed Prewitt, with double silver ringworks and only one extra ringwork above the wrap. Leather wrap. Highly figured birdseye maple forearm, macassar ebony buttsleeve. Micarta buttcap with Prewitt logo. One shaft only.
The cue originally looks like this:

The previous owner of this cue wanted Ed's signature paua shell ringworks on the joint and above buttcap, and also wanted to fix the buttcap finish flaw. So at first he inquired the prices and time needed to get this repair done. He figured to spend US$1300-1600 for this repair work was too much and takes about 4-5 months to complete.
Here's what Ed responded:
So he decided to go with the cheaper option (imo not a good idea
) and went to a Chinese cuemaker called Demon Cues.
He paid $725 for the repairs, detailed info as follow:
Here's what the cue looks like now:

Specs of the cue:
Butt: 16oz
Shaft 1: 3.9oz (13.21mm)
Shaft 2: 3.7oz (12.85mm)
He paid a total of $2225 for this cue, but since it's altered or repaired by a different cuemaker, he's wondering if he could take a loss and still fetch $1500.
