1 piece Slate Availability! I wonder how manufacturers are dealing with this??

Even Global Billiards that manufacturers the Brunswick 7ft coin ops are surprised they never built their 1,000's of tables over the last 50 years with one piece slates, what a novel idea from Brunswick, that must make them extremely unique, as ONE of only 3 manufacturers to have thought of using 1 piece slates instead of the traditional 3 piece slates.

Not Brunswick Billiards anymore!

Paul Stoneham, CEO, Life Fitness, LLC commented: “The divestiture of Brunswick Billiards allows Life Fitness, LLC to now focus on building its core commercial/professional fitness business with the sales proceeds earmarked for investment in R&D, connected fitness, and supply chain. Escalade is a natural home and owner for the Brunswick Billiards business, setting it up to thrive in the future.”

Brunswick Billiards will continue to be based in Bristol, WI and led by John Kazik, general manager, and his management team. Escalade’s purchase of the Brunswick Billiards business is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to be completed in January 2022

My ignore list is small, it does in fact hurt me, to have to put Glen on it, Realkingcobra is no longer someone I associate with. I do respect how much he has helped out industry. His bad business practices are just one of the reasons.

Yeah, you're right, only Diamond, Predator, and Brunswick make one piece slates😉Valley, Dynamo are all 3 piece slates😅🤣🤣

Glen , little help if possible --
the Diamond wedge system --
is the wedge eject-able with the bolt or only draw in --
can't tell from a picture - just curious -
thanks -

Pulls out, but to push it back in you have to loosen the rail bolts around it first, then use like a big wrench to push it back in, with one end against the rail skirt wood block and the head of the leveling screw.

thanks Glen , appreciate the quick response --
not doing any leveling , just had to know --

I spoke with one of the VP's of the major manufacturers(I won't tell which one!!) and he made it VERY VERY CLEAR to me that it aint easy to quarry for the larger pieces. In fact, he went into so much detail that I felt like I should be getting a discount for 3 piece slate... Getting containers off the ships is another problem entirely! Talking with him about it actually made me feel sick , FOR HIM....

So cute, he decided to call "Lil Ole Triiiinnt From Taledo" today and not leave a message. How pompus.... I "bet" it was because of this post, wait. I hate loser gamblers and only like LEGAL SPORTS GAMBLING... Isn't it weird that DIAMOND SPONSORS SO MANY OF THE ILLEGAL GAMBLING PAY PER VIEWS OUT THERE???!!!! I will just trust my GUT and move on. The truth is obvious

Having 4 Commercial table manufacturers is definitely showing the industry is growing!

I hope you're right about growth rather than sharing the same pie.

I'm guessing there's a lot of tables going overseas or at least that's their hope.

Folks have learned how to stay at home last couple of years. Maybe that's a growth area.

I think its definitely growing!
Rooms are opening after the old ones closed!

People are pulling the trigger much more freely with the pandemic issue.

In general, its time for pool to grow into a real sport!
