We’ll definitely not going back to that place again.

Very simple: Don't go back. Couldn't count the # of times i've scene this scenario. Also a great score once. Local hot-shot wanted to show off for his lady. Well, my buddy taxed him for about 3grand in 1982ish dollars. Sweeeet. Tables sucked but when you've got a stone-cold sucker hooked who cares. ;)
Yep! Those places tend to be sucker magnets, and that’s why you roll with it and don’t complain.

The crappy equipment was the same penalty on both players, recall place call OX BAR in Phoenix the table were horrible, cigarette burns, etc.

But price pregame was quarter, owner was nice, people were ok.

Place closed because it was loosing dollars, I guess.

Part about opponent going of 10-15 minute brake should been told TD, and if guy too too long should have been handed loss.

Long list of places I will never go back to for various reasons.

Dirty, Smelly, Bad Crowd, Crappy TD, who need this bull. Hope they all go bust and close for not making simple changes.

That’s exactly what I’m going to do and a few others. Just thought I’d share the experience with people. I know it happens, just curious as to other peoples story of this experience.

You crashed a small $10. Local tournament with nonplayers who don't care. You plobably didn't belong there in the first place.
HAHAHA your boyfriend didn’t give you no d**k lastnight or something?. Seems like your butt hurt emotionally not physically and have your pantys ties in a knot. You’re probably the one who runs shitty tournaments like this one.

Yep. Used to play them a lot. Might be the same tourney you went to, depending on where you are located. Good people having fun playing a tourney for money.

You didn't like it. Who cares? Who do you intend to help by posting this? You didn't even tell us where it was so we can't avoid it.

You got your bvds in a twist. Man up, untwist them and move on.

Place that cater to customers need with simple thing like.

Good food, reasonable drink prices, clean non stink environment, good equipment. Should do well.

But like the night I was in place that closed not long after this. I said your out of paper towels on mens room. Replay was use your shirt to dry hands. Guy replying was owner.

You know what is really shitty? You put someone out of a tourney they were likely enjoying, then left. I've done it too, but I felt bad about it and didn't blame the tourney.

Yessir. Games were .75c here. I’ll usually go check out these tournaments and I shoot with a large group of people all the time. So if this place turned out to be a solid spot I would have grew their tourney a bit. That’s what their post advertising the tournament wanted to do. But with how it was ran and the equipment level. I’ll pass on sharing that to my fellow shooters. The tournament started at 7pm on a Sunday night. So them allowing people to take long breaks in the middle of matches like that would make those tournaments last wayyyyy too long. Nobody wants to be somewhere until 2am on a Sunday night going into Monday.

I actually gave the guy I beat my spot. So he could have enjoyed the rest of the night who knows, I left. I wasn’t sticking around to find out.

I shared the thing to hear other peoples stories that was similar. And no I didn’t want to share the location. Maybe they do want to take sh*t serious and I’d give them the chance to fix their mistakes. I’m not going to blast someone online over something like this. I’ll speak on the story but I’m. It going to say the place.

I'm sure a business owner like yourself must be very successful with such an attitude. That's why you're on a pool forum crying about $10

Bars, Pool Bars, Spots Bars, and Pool Room fail.

Most owner could get idea why failure happen from Bar Rescue TV Show.

This is not rocket science, but some owner do not know difference between rocket, and rock band.

Know one place in Phx the Manager had sticky fingers, let friend drink for free, over pours big tippers. Had that thieft stopped the place might have made it.

I was sharing a story to hear others story’s that were similar. That’s what I like about this forum, to hearing story’s from people. And yes I actually am very successful. Want some solar on your house?? I showed a bit of respect to the bar and people running the tourney, I didn’t blast their name on here nor did I say the place. I could have but I didn’t. They still have the chance to make a better tournament. Like I said, I only wanted to hear other peoples stories that were similar as to mine.

Wow" quite a response to my honest comments. Little thin skinned I would say.

I am sure you are. Pool does often to bring out the worst in people.

I was just being a troll and was trying to push your buttons. Didn’t work you didn’t respond the way I thought lol. Like I said I only shared to hear other stories with similar situations. I didn’t blast the bar nor did I blast the people who ran it. They advertise it like they want to draw a crowd. If I dragged their name, It would slow that down. They have the chance to work kinks out. I just won’t be back until I hear good things.

I know a few places like that. Back home there was a pool hall that would run some back door big money games. If you were playing one of the three guys who owned the place or one of their buddy’s and won. They’d beat you up and take your money. Gambling was still illegal in that state you couldn’t call the cops unless you wanted to incriminate yourself for gambling. They ended up going under fairly quickly though. They all got caught up selling dope using the pool hall as a way to launder money.
