This thought occurred to me the other day when I was working on a tip. The Willards shaper I was using must be around 40 years old now . The only thing older might be a pocket knife of my dads. I am sure some of you still have a cue older than that.

Yeah I never thought about it, but my old McDermott D-2 is almost 40 years old. I bought it in 84, still fairly young by cue standards though.

1980 something Viking p-90. Just threw out one of those imperial hard cases from 80’s/90’s. My cue got warped in there since it’s just flat and didnt account for tapers. But it sure was cool at the time with those metal corners and dark blue felt inside! Oh and a 1974(I think)Adams Century full splice I don’t use.

Refurbished Bear P5 cue with Predator Z2 shaft, I own that thing since the mid nineties. It's now a backup cue, but hardly ever comes out of the case anymore. I can't part with it though.

Yup I've got a Willards from the mid 80's.
Once in awhile I run it under hot water with a little soap to clean it up.

old Brunswick token I occasionally use for marking under the rail or flipping for break
