2 cue questions?

I've got a slim chance in a raffle on a couple of cues. It's winner choice. One is a Ariel Carmeli the other a Pete Tonkin. How do these two compare quality wise and play wise?

Thanks

The wrap on the Tonkin does not fit the bill. However that carmeli is just beautiful. If it were my money between those two, I'd go Carmeli. However I've heard nothing but good things about both makers, you cannot go wrong.

I disagree, I love the white snake/lizard wraps. I'd also pick the Tonkin.

Both are great cues. Just pick the one that you like the best.

Personally, I like the burl on that Tonkin, but as others have said, that wrap has to go!

Carmelli,, has a much nicer flow , from the rubber to the joint protector, the cue blends very well.
Tonkin is EH, like wearing plaid pants, a striped shirt, and checkerboard shoes. The inlays and wrap..Yikes!!!!!
As far as playability,,,,, unless you can hit with both cues, you're grabbing at straws.

They are both good cues. The rafflers, should offer a cash buyout. Hell they can reraffle the same cue, then rinse and repeat.
