You are probably right. Things are a mess right now as far as the supply chain goes.I ordered some custom wheels at the end of Jan and was told 11-weeks. I am at 19 weeks and counting.....
I was told supply chain problems, first in raw material, then a CNC machine was down, now it is taking longer than expected in polish and anodize.
The new normal.
And hopeful it’s not damaged or defective. There goes 2 years without cookingTry buying a stove……a year
If it is just a couple of months extra then I guess it won't be that bad but what sucks is I made deal and sold my table based on that original date so the guy that I sold it to picks it up sometime in the next week or two so I will be without a table much longer that I thought I would be. Oh will I guess I have a good excuse to go play at the local watering hole now!Mine was about 6-7 months BEFORE the crazy supply chain issues. Another 2 months doesn't seem like too much more. And, it won't matter in the long run. Be patient.

Holy crap.........now I don't feel so bad! When I ordered my table in 2018 it was a 10 week delivery. If I remember right it arrived a week early. Crazy how things have changed. I ordered a new Mercury 4 stroke motor for my bass boat in May of 2021 and was quoted a 16 week delivery. It's been ordered over a year now and still no motor. Last time I checked they said the computer is now showing February 2023. Unbelievable!
Mine took 14 weeks or so that was last year. What I learned is if you can buy directly from a diamond mechanic. They usually have tables on hand no wait sometimes and they are actually doing the work.I ordered a table back in February and at that time I was told the build time was 6 to 7 months. I just checked and now am being told it will be November. Just wondering if anyone else has one on order and what you are being told about a delivery date.
Thanks
This is the way to order. Directly from the mechanic.I guess we got lucky.
My son is moving into his house at the end of the month.
Three weeks ago he ordered a 9 foot Diamond from a table mechanic who is a distributor
and it will be delivered and set up by him on the 15th of July.
This mechanic/distributor always has several tables on order from Diamond.
Apparently he keeps a running inventory.
Great news… you’re gonna love it.I guess we got lucky.

If your specs lineup with what they have - definitely a good way to do. But if you want a custom order, gotta wait in line. This is the way to order. Directly from the mechanic.
A good mechanic/distributor will adjust the table to your specs. If your specs lineup with what they have - definitely a good way to do. But if you want a custom order, gotta wait in line.
Imo, It’s worth the wait.
They would have to modify or replace the rails if you wanted different size pockets . I don't suspect them wanting to modify the rails on a brand new table.A good mechanic/distributor will adjust the table to your specs.
They will do that, or at least the table mechanic/distributer that my son dealt with. They would have to modify or replace the rails if you wanted different size pockets . I don't suspect them wanting to modify the rails on a brand new table.
