That's how the Valley coin operated pool tables are designed, to make balls, not reject them.Table looks great but why is that corner pocket cut janky?

Interesting. That's how the Valley coin operated pool tables are designed, to make balls, not reject them.
ALL coin operated pool tables, with the exception of Diamonds, are designed to build up the quarters count, NOT challenge your ball making skills, take a look at the pocket shelf in those coner pockets, NO ball rattling going on there!Interesting.
Yeah, it looks like the throat is wider than the opening. Is that supposed to the side pocket end or something???Table looks great but why is that corner pocket cut janky?
So your saying if the ball gets past the points its going to fall???That's how the Valley coin operated pool tables are designed, to make balls, not reject them.
Now your getting the picture! So your saying if the ball gets past the points its going to fall???![]()
You think I just started working on pool tables yesterday?Yeah, it looks like the throat is wider than the opening. Is that supposed to the side pocket end or something???
I will guess no unless you want me to answer otherwise. You think I just started working on pool tables yesterday?![]()
Well buddy, you've been overlooking the Valley Dynamo and about every other coin operated pool tables ever built, because for the most part, they're all designed like thatI will guess no unless you want me to answer otherwise.
It just seemed odd to me because I thought I looked at most tables pretty thoroughly and I have never seen a Valley pocket opening that looked that way. maybe its just an optical illusion from the camera but the opening looks considerably tighter than the throat. I will have to pay more attention to this in the future.
Does it have to be a Dynamo?? I have a Valley at home that's from the early 70's with current Penguins on it, not the tight pocket cushions, does that have the same kittywhumpas pocket angles?Well buddy, you've been overlooking the Valley Dynamo and about every other coin operated pool tables ever built, because for the most part, they're all designed like that![]()
Stock rail, yes.Does it have to be a Dynamo?? I have a Valley at home that's from the early 70's with current Penguins on it, not the tight pocket cushions, does that have the same kittywhumpas pocket angles?
Despite the poor job on that pool table, Spokane is still my favourite US city.
Keep it a secret!
Table looks good and plays great. To bad the balls are crap, they should have been replaced 50 years agoAnyone in the Spokane area what to see how the Strachan Superweave cloth plays, visit the Special K Pub, it's the only table right now in Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho with it. When you come in the bar, you won't miss the table, trust me!!!!
