NYC is not cheap, 🤯🤮

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Sunday-Wednesday reservation rate: $76 per table per hour.
  • Thursday-Saturday reservation rate: $84 per table per hour.
  • Tables are not reserved until full payment is received.
  • Reservation pricing does not include food or drinks.
  • Maximum of 6 people are allowed per table.
  • All tables will be next to each other if you reserve multiple tables.
  • Ask for a more private area and we can curtain and/or rope the area away from the rest of the venue.
  • Email maria@amsterdambilliards.com to complete reservation.

As shocked as we are seeing those prices and wont pay them. Appernetly there are enough people paying those prices to stay open.

I'll quit first. That's friggin ridiculous!

Friends daughter lives in NYC, she & husband live in postage stamps Cindo about 700 Square Feet, they paid 1.75 million bucks.

Friend went to visit the daughter took him to local Pool place, Amsterdam.

Friend showed me rate on phone, I said no way. So I went to website it is no 🐂💩.

Looks like $11.80-17.90 per person per hour. According to their website.

SKIP100 & AF POOL GUY, lol, that's just marketing lingo. You rent THE TABLE, which can be for up to 6 people. The table is $76 to $84/hour no matter how many people play on it.
And yes, there are enough rich people in NYC to support these rates.
For those of you who haven't been to NYC, there are a shit-ton of establishments we all can't afford lol

LOL

And the place has Brunswick tables as well.
Imagine if they had Diamond tables, he would be going off his bucking bronco!

People in NYC are not richer then other places. Yes they may make more money a year.

But lest say prices for everything from a Bagel, Pastrami Sandwich, Cigar are some of the most expensive in USA.

Plus in you live in NYC aka five boroughs, Beside Federal, State, you also have to pay Locsl incomeTax.

Big Apple ID expensive to live, and a apartment the side of a hood size cloth closet could run $3,500.00 a month in a halfway decent location.

there is a new place that charges $25 per hour per person and $40 per person on weekends after 8pm

lower east side, there are of course no pool players there but i’m sure they get their money plus tips

precovid amsterdam charged 40$ per table from 9pm- 3am any number of players

so 3 of us played for six hours for $18 each
(don’t forget to tip)

Whenever someone mentions this, I mention my friend from Memphis. He was the youngest person to get CISCO's highest level cert. He was offered a job in silicon valley making 750K a year.

He turned it down because he lives WAY better on 250K a year in Memphis than he would on 750K in silicon valley.

I'm saying that there are more rich people and expensive places in NYC due to it's size lol
