Jimmy can play, and it's great to see him step in to the ring, but he can't play at a consistently high level for an entire tournament IMO (OK, maybe a seniors tournament but they are a lot less strenuous). The 60yo gent puts up a 133 in competition.

A friend of mine in college had one of those cues, but I think his was a half-joint. The system was called WAC or something. My first dedicated 3/4 Snooker cue was a "Jimmy White" by BCE. Slick for it's day with weight rings that you could add/delete. Eventually harvested it for the shaft for my current player.
After about a half hour of looking, I finally noticed Jimmy in this pic
So much truth here.Jimmy can play, and it's great to see him step in to the ring, but he can't play at a consistently high level for an entire tournament IMO (OK, maybe a seniors tournament but they are a lot less strenuous).

Sad but true. At almost 64 I am facing these same limitations. So much truth here.
I turned 70 this year and feel the pain and discomfort of aging in new places all the time.
With pool I play great early on and seem to fade after 3 hours of play. Not sure if it is stamina related or perhaps mental but it sure is evident. Perhaps I have just seen better days and maybe Jimmy has too. Good for him either way. I too catch a higher gear once in a while but not daily anymore..
It is what it is!
FATBOY! Calling it like he is seeing it. Or not...lolAt 44 snooker tables turned into 3C tables for me. The pockets just disappeared. I couldn’t pot a ball anymore.
When I was 24 snooker was my strong suit.
JW is great, he got mad at the WC this past year with a hot mic, was pretty funny. Love and respect him!!![]()
Love that man. Toupee and all. If you exclude Ronnie the most gifted natural ever to pick up a cue.
