Efren Reyes

How diid Efren Reyes make the four ball Shot In the left hand bottom corner at 2016 World Asian tournament … at 4:05 in the video ….seems almost impossible … If you do not know please do not respond to this Thread … Thanks
Shorty, this was a very good question and photo especially for less experienced members. Don't be discouraged by some of the rude responses. Thanks to those with knowledgeable replies. Thank you for taking the time.....

Also, note that the side rails look nearly parallel. Either they are using a funny lens or the camera is a long, long distance away. That is not the usual view you have in pool videos.

How did you load the video sir
Google the match. Find the Youtube video. FF to the spot where the incident occurs and pause. Right-click and select "Copy video URL at current time". Paste it into your post here.

That was a pretty terrible game from both players.

For those who think Efren used a significant amount of left spin, try the shot on a table. The cue ball will not hit eight ball after three cushions if you use much left spin. Note that the cue stick is passing over the farther point of the side pocket and it is pointed (use the shadow) about a ball to our left of the middle diamond on the end rail.

Did you actually read the responses here? I wouldn't say the responses were "rude", maybe humorous. You are making them look like the bad guys when folks here were trying to help. Problem is with OP cos he did not provide enough info/ details.
Then he sounded salty (I love that word :D ) telling people to post on another thread. Ouch I better stop posting on HIS thread:LOL:

The real answer is that that goofy and broken camera angle makes the shot look like it's impossible. It was maybe a 75-degree cut, judging from the speed of the cue ball and object ball. That's easy and standard -- he didn't even need outside english. On the video, the camera angle makes it look like 110 degrees.
At that thin of a cut, would spin even bite ?
I was thinking he was going to cut the cue ball action by inside spin, but it had no side spin at all .

He's always salty and always demands only people who can help him reply, while contributing nothing back to the forum .

Ah, center ball my friend
You are 100% correct the camera angle made the shot look like it was a hard thin cut shot but it was really easy as Bob Jewett said He was 100% correct and I also spoke to Jose Garcia and confirmed with what Bob Jewett say …. Thanks to everybody … Jose Said you could tell there was no English either left or right on the cueball when it came off the rail …

You are 100% right I spoke to Jose Garcia and he stated that was the camera angle and he also stated that you could tell when the cue ball came off the rail had no kind of English on it … but I love these people who have the experience as an amateur just speaking out when they really don’t know … they think they know but they don’t …

Well if that is the case why did you even post on my thread … Your one of them guys who are always posting on peoples threads and saying something that they don’t need to be said … keep your comments and stuff to yourself … you contribute nothing but negativity to this forum as always …
